Here are the steps to logging in and finding Banner Self-Service for Employees:

Click on my.vcu.edu and your browser will open a separate window so you can log into myVCU portal.  The myVCU portal page should look similar to the one below:

Inside the red rectangle you will see the myVCU Login block.  Enter your eID and eID password and then click “Login”.  Your eID and password are what you use to log into VCU Mail Anywhere and Blackboard, for example.  If you do not know your eID click on the “What is my eID?” link located in the same myVCU Login block.
 

Once logged in you should see a screen similar to the one below:

On the right side of the page either at the top or next to top block you will see the block entitled “Single Sign-on Links”.  Should the Single-On Links block not appear you may need to add it to your default myVCU portal page.  To learn how to do this click here.  The Single Sign-on Links block contains many services at VCU that you can click on and open up without having to re-enter your eID information.  The arrow below points to Banner Self-Service for Employees:

Click on the Banner Self-Service for Employees Link to open up the Banner Self-Service application:

This is the Banner Self Service for Employees page.  Notice the highlighted sections that indicate links you can click to view Personal or Employee information.  When you are finished you can click on “Exit” up in the far right corner next to “Help”.

That is all there is to it.  Now that you have mastered the myVCU Single Sign-on you can enter many locations from this one site.  To add or delete links from your list of links click on Personalize in the title bar of the myVCU Single Sign-on Links block.  Additional help in using the myVCU portal can be found by clicking on the “?” in the upper right corner of the portal page.
